Things I like about San Francisco
My incomplete list of things that I like about San Francisco
Sitting here at a cafe on Powell Street, working on my blog, I’m really appreciating my city....
A while back I shared with my visitors, in true blog fashion, a list of “Things that irk me as an urban dweller”. Well, here’s the “other” list. A list of things that I appreciate as an “urban dweller”.
- When someone gives their seat on Muni to an elderly or otherwise deserving rider.
- When someone holds a door open for the person behind them. Bonus points if they get a “thank you”.
- Frank Chu
- Public transportation that mostly works
- Bus drivers that don’t allow non-paying, back door entering leeches to get away with it.
- Tourists wearing shorts in July—and freezing their ass off!
- Loud mouth protestors.
- Gavin Newsom
- Bonding with people on the bus.
- Folsom Street Fair!!!
- The general geekiness of the city
- Anchor Brewery
