A new category: (in)security

I’ve added a new category: (in)security

(in)security is going to be used to call out the stupid crap that is being foisted on us in the name of security. From my encounters with the muni fare inspectors, idiotic TSA rules, anti-photography rules and laws, and flight attendants godlike attitudes, not to mention what the Bush administration has done to us, we are getting screwed in the name of (in)security.

This should be easy, and equal parts funny and horrifying…

Ben Franklin said it best: “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” I say, it’s even worse if the security gained is illusory!
